Hands down, the worst macaroni and cheese I've ever made. I think it cooked for over 3 hours.

Red Cross Heroes Breakfast

Today was the Red Cross Heroes Breakfast at the Seattle Convention Center. It is their largest annual fundraiser. I was the volunteer manager for the event.

Sarah and Sushi

Sarah came to visit this weekend. She had a grad school interview in Portland at Pacific University. Needless to say we had to get sushi. Unfortunately there was so much sushi that Sarah didn't fit in the picture, but she was here.

Rediculous.

I saw Zoey try to jump up on this window ledge (before the cat perch) only to find that it was too skinny for her and the glass closer than she realized. She fell back onto the floor (not landing on her feet). I felt bad for her and was inspired to make this using scrap wood in the garage and a few old t-shirts. I've already caught her using it.

The landscaping begins...

I had Monday off of work. It was 50+ degrees outside and somewhat sunny, so I though I'd start on the yard. I ripped out the kind of crazy, diseased rose bushes that were here, and planted new bushes to match our neighbor. They still have a little growing to do. I put down stepping stones to level out where our hose reel sits. My mom will be so proud! =)
