Andrew and I visited the Seattle Zoo today with Whitney and James.
This woodpecker wasn't at the zoo, but in our backyard.

The Sun has Arrived!!!
We went into Seattle today, walked up and down 1st Ave and visited the Seattle Art Museum (SAM). Andrew is getting a closer look at the armor made of dog-tags, while Tom contemplates the foil emergency blankets attached to sticks leaning against the wall.
My one lone peony has bloomed.
I got "new" golf clubs at Goodwill so we took a field trip to the driving range.
There were strawberries at the farmers market!! Yum!!
And a cute kitten picture just for fun =)

Casey, Nelson & Tom
We spent the day with Casey and Nelson. First we headed to the Red Hook Brewery for lunch and the $1 tour. Then we went to Snoqualmie Falls, and over the water to Seattle for dinner at the Broadway Grill. Great Happy Hour!

Sarah's New Apartment
Sarah is moving to Portland to start grad school at Pacific University. I helped move her into her cute little studio apartment this weekend. It's a 100 year old building with great character. I love it!
This is the room.
The room came with a trundle bed that slides into the wall and under the bathroom floor.
Here's the bathroom with it's awesome clawfoot tub.
And it's elevated, so you take a few steps up into the bathroom, and in the stairs there are drawers. It's amazing!
Here's the bed after it was made. We ran out of hangers for all her clothes.
Sarah got this great chaise lounge from IKEA, and although pink wouldn't have been her first choice you can't beat a $9 couch cover.
Sarah is relaxing after getting everything moved in. Note the forced excitement on her face as I took this picture.
There is also a little storage cubby in the wall next to her bed. She briefly contemplating making that her bedroom...
