Knitting Group

I went to my first knitting MeetUp tonight. It went pretty well. Sadly I don't have any knitting to show because I ripped it out when I got home. But, everyone was very friendly and talkative. They meet at a Pub in Seattle which is fun. I will definitely be going again. I finished this hat right after the holidays. It was my first attempt at cables.

Zoey

This is our much happier and healthier Zoey. Since feeling better she has discovered that jumping up to our bed isn't really that hard and a much better place to sleep. You can really see her adorable mustache in this picture, and behind her is Andrew's sock. She likes to bring us socks while we are sleeping or drag them out for us when we come home in the evening. Yeah... we don't get it.

New Design Internship

I started a new internship this past week. It's at a place called Welcome New Neighbor. They advertise for local companies to new residents in the area. They are very small and actually started out of Lucy Smith's (the owner) garage fifteen years ago. I go in and work for them Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while still working for the Red Cross on Tuesday and Thursday.
