Seattle Underground

We went with Chris and Sarah on the Seattle Underground Tour. It was really interesting, who knew? I didn't.

These were like sky lights in the city sidewalks. They were made with purple glass because before WWII glass was clarified with magnesium causing it to turn purple until they realized it was needed for steel production.

We're Buying a House

Actually it's a duplex. We had our inspection yesterday and everything went well aside from not finding the crawl space. It was a mystery to all of us including the inspector. It has new carpet so they may have covered the access. He will come back to the house once we've talked to the seller to find out where it is. I pretty much just posted this blog to show lots of pictures.
