Less Tile, Much Improved

After demoing the fireplace when we began redoing our floors, we finally wrapped up that project. We completed the tiling last weekend, I grouted and then yesterday I painted and put up the new trim. I can't say that we miss those tiny brown 1 inch tiles that previously covered the entire span of the fireplace.

Hiking Little Si with the Speca's

We hiked Little Si with Tom and Emily. It was 2 miles up, 2 miles down, and of course we got a great view at the top :)

Rattlesnake Mountain

We hiked 2 miles up to Rattlesnake Ledge this weekend. The lookout faces the Cascade Mountains and is one of the best views we've seen hiking around Seattle. This is definitely a repeat hike, although I think our next trek up this mountain we're going to go the entire 4 miles to the summit.

Amazingness with Coldplay!

Tom, Emily, Caitlin, Jason and I went to the Mylo Xyloto Coldplay concert at Key Arena in Seattle and of course it was nothing but AMAZING! Everyone got light up bracelets in the audience that weren't controlled by us, instead they lit up with the music. It was probably the best concert I've been to, Nine Inch Nails coming in a close second.
