Hanging out with dad.
He's not too sure he likes hanging out with mom.
My parents visited this week so Aiden got to meet his Meme (French slang for grandma, pronounced May May) and Dzia Dzia (Polish for grandpa, pronounced Jah Jah ) this week. It was a great visit. Of course, his feet hardly touched the ground. My mom is an early riser so she was nice enough to take him after his 4 am-ish feedings. Andrew and I went out on our own one evening for dessert and a little Toys R Us shopping. There was lots of napping this past week, but there are more and more alert phases. Unfortunately, he can be a little cranky while he's awake and there are few things that entertain him at this point. He's focusing more when looking at us and starting to show a few little smiles here and there.
We celebrated Thanksgiving on Friday with Tom and Emily, since my parents arrived on Thanksgiving day and Emily had to work that day. Tom and Emily made ice cream, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, bread, cranberries, mulled wine and they cooked the Turkey at our house. I made mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn bread dressing ahead of time. It was a great day with family and friends!
Aiden rocked his Thanksgiving outfit from Aunt Ali for about half the day before peeing all over himself and his new outfit during a diaper change.
I love both of their faces in this picture :)
We ventured out to Teddy's Burger for lunch one day. He slept and burgers were delicious.
Aiden got a bath with Meme and dad.
Aiden is modeling his Christmas outfit from his grandparents.
After getting a new pre-lit tree, my mom and I put up my very few Christmas decorations. Then it was time for a nap.
Meme and Dzia Dzia took Aiden for a mini walk. He was well bundled and then quickly asleep.
Aw!!! So sweet:) So very happy your parents came out! So fantastic!!! Love love love! Great photos, and thrilled that you had such a fabulous and restful visit:) They're the best!
